Welcome to my tour page! Here you will find the tours that I lead for either the Outdoor Club of South Jersey or the South Jersey Wheelmen. These clubs offer a feature no other can provide...tours led by RePete!

Smithville !!

The Towne of Historic Smithville is a quaint little town near Atlantic City, where the sounds of yesteryear are very much alive. Centered around the Smithville Inn, the Towne entertains thousands of vistors each year.
Walk along the cobblestone paths and return to the 1700's when the people were friendlier and everything was homemade.
Enter any of the forty fine shoppes or dine in any of the four fine restaurnats and take home an experience to treasure and remember!!

Date: Saturday, August 21 (tentitive!)
Average Speed: Varied mostly 14 - 16 mph (C+)
Distance: Approximately 65 miles Time: 9:00 am

Just Tour'n
Summer is here and it is time to stretch our legs!! We now begin to push. The distance increases to either 15 or a 20 mile tour. Our pace with the SJW will be at a C+...the OCSJ will go at a B. Choose your distance, then your speed and now ride!!!!!

Club/Date: South Jersey Wheelmen (SJW)/Aug 4 Outdoor Club of South Jersey (OCSJ) Aug 6, 13, 20
Distance: Approximately 15 miles
Average Speed: Class C+ (14 - 16 mph) w/SJW or Class B (16 - 18 mph) w/OCSJ.
Time/Location: 7:00 pm / McDonald's in Williamstown, New Jersey on Hwy #322.

Outback!
Summer is now nearly gone and so are these tours...the distance is shorter as we race the setting sun.

Club/Dates: South Jersey Wheelmen/Aug 11, 25 Outdoor Club of South Jersey/ Aug 27
Distance: Approximately 10 miles
Average Speed: 14 - 16 mph (C+)
Time / Location: 7:00 pm / McDonald's in Williamstown, NJ on US 322.

Peach Blossom !!!
This spring time favorite was postponed due to the weather in April. Well...we will try one last time for this year. Unfortunately the blossoms will be long, long gone! But don't worry...we still have much to offer in the way of some interesting touring. And we will stop in that 50's era eatery!!! Now, do come out...you will get a preview of next year's tour...PLEASE NOTE THE TWO STARTING LOCATIONS AND TIMES. Pick the one that is good for you.

Average Speed: 16 - 18 mph (Class B)
Locations: Full Tour - Bike Line in Cross Keys S. C. (Route 42, Turnesville, New Jersey Quick Tour - Richwood Academy, Richwood New Jersey (just off Route 55 on US 322)
Times: Full Tour - 8:00 am / Quick Tour - 9:30 am
