A close game tonight as Harlem squeked the close game out. Glen Rice and Van Exel had a big time competition of you can't stop me as they went 49-35 in favor of Van Exel. SWO had troubles up front with the injury to Ilgauskus as Pots only had 5 points.

Jersey flexed some muscle tonight against Victoria. Victoria playing without two starters struggled in this game as their 9th man didn't even see the floor. Jersey who battled injuries alot last year put up a super game, all that with Geiger on the sidelines. Watch out for Jersey this year.

No big surprise for Toronto as they know their time is in the future. Nobody looked to great for Toronto as Brand was only scorer who had over 20 points. On the flip side Chi-Town didn't have a game to be all excited about as they struggled to find the right rotation. John Wallace played and only got 3 points.

The defending conference champions didn't look to spectacular against Calgary as Calgary almost snuck a win from Forest City. Forest City's bench wasn't that hot without Penny Hardaway, and Chauncey Billups. Looks like any sort of injury will hurt Forest City this year.

Atlanta gets the win in the opener against the new team run by Jamal. Jamal's team struggled tonight as no starter had over 20 points. It was a great defensive effort by Atlanta or a horrible offensive effort by Illtown. Illtown played without Kittles while Atlanta played without Fortson and Dampier. Wesley and Hunter did well for Illtown on the bench. Pierce had a super output of 43 points.

limit. In this drag out fight Pennsylvania comes out the winner with a 5 point win.
Former Oakland players haunted them yet against as Hill, Stackhouse and Cassell
scored over 110 points against Oakland. As part of the pre game bet Oakland GM Jon
