Pennsylvania 169 vs Calgary 174(W)
Calgary pulls out a big win! Calgary a team that has had trouble finding the right combination of depth, found the right match tonight. McGrady, Person, and Willis were excellent off the bench. Calgary's backcourt of Mark Jackson and Reggie Miller were both unimpressive as the combined score failed to beat Tracy McGrady off the bench. Pennsylvania was once again paced by Shaq, but a slow game for Karl Malone hurt them. Calgary's home crowd made a big difference in the game down the stretch, as Pennsylvania had a rough time running the plays.

New Age 151 vs Atlanta 191(W)
Atlanta wins! Atlanta wins! In what is fastly becoming upset night Atlanta had everything work right for them as they took down one of the prior undefeated teams in the league in New Age. Atlanta's starters were very steady, and had to monster performances from the bench from Dampier and Stith, both unlikely sources. New Age just couldnt muster up enough magic as Mutumbo, Ratliff, and Hardaway were all very average. Surprisingly a day after being thought to be soft against Shaq, Coleman dominated Mutumbo on this night.

Oakland 155 vs Dublin 160(W)
Oakland's road woes continue. Oakland who has lost 3 road games by 10 points or less added the tough loss tonight against a Dublin team who has strung together some good games. Brian Grant who was dealt from Oakland to Dublin was the games MVP with 43 points, totally overmatching Shawn Kemp who he was dealt for. This is not the first time Oakland has dealt someone and they explode against them, a few games back Rahim did the same thing. GM Jon commented about the teams 1-6 record, "we suck, we really suck, we have names, but they are not meshing together. I would like to string together some wins, these people out are really hurting our squad. We might be dangerous when we are healthy, but by that time it might be to late. We will see how we do in some upcoming games, but we might fold it for this year and try for next year if we cant be one of the four teams in the conference to make the playoffs."

Chi-Town 146 vs Forest City 193(W)
Rahim, and Iverson have great games, which wasnt counteracted by Chi-Town. Maurice Taylor coming off a monster performance only landed with 10 points. Forest City pulled out the win despite playing 8 players. GM Brad was quoted as saying, "This game was a must win any way you look at it. Beating Chi-Town and taking the divisional lead in this short season crucial. Our stars came to play tonight, but our lack of reserves hurt us. The signings of Cummings, Bryant, and McCloud should solidify this team's reserves, and make us a very very strong contender for the 1999 JFBL Title."

Vermont 159 vs Harlem 165(W)
Another close close game is decided by the bench play of P. J. Brown. P. J. Brown had a great bench output after McDyess wore down Nowitski. With Nowitski tired, Vermont brought in Stokavich to try and battle against P. J. which was advantage P. J.. The injury to Zydrunas Illgauskus proved costly for Vermont. Vermont GM Eric was quoted as saying after the road loss, "those stupid fans- throwing pennies and skittles on the court- what kind of team can put up with that???"

Jersey 144 vs Edmonton 152(W)
Edmonton pulls out the one point win without playing one player. Edmonton pulled out another upset during upset night over Jersey by the score of 152-144. Lindsey Hunter did not play tonight, and there was nobody brought up to take his place because their were not set reserves. Jersey was the victim of a horrible game by Raef Lafrentz, and just brought up starter Nick Anderson also did not impress. This knocks out all the undefeated teams.

Maine 208(W) vs Toronto 152
Maine's front court does it again. In what was once thought to be Maine's weakspot,
Maine's front court was pretty solid on all fronts. If that wasnt enough Stephon
Marbury went OFF for 58 points tonight. Stephon Marbury had everything clicking
against Eddie Jones. For the second game in a row Maine had a very solid output
from the bench, anchored by J. R. Reid's 38 points.
