About the Webmaster

Greetings! I, L. Deng, am the webmaster of the Miami Heat HomePage, and would like to take this time to tell you a little about myself.

I am a 13-year-old female, and am currently in seventh grade. I resided in Miami, Florida for several years until my family moved to my current house in the summer of 1993. My house is located in Weston, Florida, which is approximately a one-hour car ride from Miami.

As you have probably noticed already, these web pages may have a somewhat professional look to them. I make sure that there are no or few typos, grammatical errors, or errors in my HTML (Hyper-Text Markup Language) coding, the language used to create web pages. Many of my peers regard me as a perfectionist, and they are probably right, since I will not accept anything less than nearly perfect. (However, even though I like everything to be perfect, I am far from perfect myself.)

My interests include: the Monkees (a 1960s band), the Internet, and the NBA.

Obviously, my favorite sport is basketball. My favorite NBA teams include: the Phoenix Suns, the Chicago Bulls, the Utah Jazz, and, of course, the Miami Heat. (However, although I am a Bulls fan, I am not a Michael Jordan fan.) My favorite European basketball team is Buckler Bologna of the Italian A1 League.

As I mentioned earlier, I also like the Monkees. My favorite Monkees songs include: "Papa Gene's Blues" and "Sweet Young Thing". My favorite Monkee is Michael Nesmith.

This entire web site was created and is maintained by me. I have not received any HTML help from my parents nor have I received help from anyone else I know. I created all of these web pages with the help of an HTML book and various Internet sources. All of the Miami Heat HomePage is maintained and updated by me on a daily basis.
