Saturday May 17
Left Lake Jackson, TX in the morning and drove to Mobile,AL. Watched the Mobile Baybears vs. Chattanooga Lookouts at 7:05 p.m. Slept in the van at an Alabama rest stop.
Sunday May 18
Left the rest stop in the early morning and drove to Atlanta, GA. Didn't watch the Atlanta Braves vs. Saint Louis Cardinals becuase ESPN picked it up for its night broadcast. Left Atlanta early afternoon and proceeded to stop in Royston, GA hometown to Ty Cobb. We drove on and slept at a rest stop in Virginia.
Monday May 19
Finish the drive to Philadelphia, PA and checked into a hotel. We watch the Philadelphia Phillies vs Houston Astros at 7:05 p.m. We spent the night in the for mentioned hotel.
Tuesday May 20
Woke up and drove to Baltimore, MD. We bummed around the neighborhood surrounding Oriole Park. Didn't visit the dental museum because it was closed. We watch the Baltimore Orioles vs. Detroit Tigers at 7:35 pm. Drove into New York City.
Wednesday May 21
We parked at the train station located in ?ville, NY. After having no sleep we rode the train into New York City and camped out in front of the Ed Sullivan Theater for stand by ticket for Kenneth. Ken and I were interviwed by a radio reporter on the topic of Marv Alberts sexual abuse lawsuit. The three of us bummed around downtown at various times and paces. We watched the Dave Letterman Show with guests Richard Simmons, ?, and Toad the Wet Sprocket. We watch the New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays 7:35 p.m. Roger Clemens record his 200th victory of his career. We slept in the van after the game.
Thursday May 22
We drove to Cooperstown, NY in the morning. We spent the afternoon at the Baseball Hall of Fame. We spent the night at Glimmerglass State Park near Cooperstown, NY.
Friday May 23
In the morning we drove to Niagra Falls and sight saw for a little while on the United States side. We drove on to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We stopped at a province park northeast of Toronto and rode the train into town. Watched the Toronto Blue Jays vs Anaheim Angels 7:35 p.m. Slept in the park. The next campsite over had a drunken brawl break out during the night.
Saturday May 24
We drove to Montreal, Canada. We watch the Montreal Expos vs. Pittsburgh Pirates at 7:35 p.m. We spent the night at Oka province park.
Sunday May 25
We spent the day driving towards Boston, MA. We spent the after noon and night at a state park near Boston.
Monday May 26
We drove into Boston early to get the oil changed in the van but the garages were closed due to Memorial Day.We bummed around Boston. We played a little baseball on a downtown lot. We watched Boston Red Sox vs. Milwaukee Brewers at 1:05 p.m. We drove towards Pittsburgh, PA and slept at a rest stop in Pennsylvania.
Tuesday May 27
We left from the rest stop and had the oil changed at a Sears on the way.
We Stoped at a state park and bummed around for a while. We watched the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs 7:05 p.m. We spent the night at the state park.
Wednesday May 28
We drove to Cincinnati. We stopped at a state park. While at the park Wes and I were tossing the baseball around which lead to the windshild being cracked. We decided to see if there was going to be a game because of rain. We set through a rain delay at the start of the game. We watched the Cincinnati Reds vs. Philadelphia Phillies at approximently 8:15 p.m. We spent the night at the state park.
Thursday May 29
We awoke and decided to push on to Saint Louis, MO because the weather reports didn't see favorable for a game in Detroit. We were right, there was no game in Detroit. We watched the Saint Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers at 8:05 p.m. We slept at a road stop in Missouri south of Saint Louis
Friday May 30
We left the road stop and headed to Jackson, MS. We played a little baseball at a public park. We watched the Jackson Generals vs. Chatannooga Lookouts at approximently 7:30 p.m. after a short rain delay. We missed our chance to roll out the tarp after the game because we were not quick enough. We drove for a while and was bombarded by a strong thunderstorm. We eventually stopped at a rest stop in Louisiana.
Saturday May 31
We headed home from the rest stop. We took a break at a friends apartment in Nacogdoches, TX. We arrived home in the mid-afternoon.
