Oksana Omelianchik 

 

                             

 

Oksana Omelianchik was the 1985 world AA Champion and Floor Excersice Champion.  She never competed in an Olympics but was the alternate for the 1988 team.  She was well known for her inovative rutines on all events.  She has several skills named after her in the Code of Points including a vault (Roundoff 1/2 on front off) and backhandspring 1/4 turn on beam.  She was alson well known for her inovativa back to back tumbleing.  Her charm and personality especially on the floor excersice remain unmatched.
