Background: He says,"I evolved from the tiniest plankton in the ocean (back when Pangaea existed)." Funny. Anyways though, Jon came in 1996 and played cymbals. In 10th grade he played 3rd bass. When we found out that he was moving soon in 1998 Marching Season though, we cut him from a part. Now he simply serves as a student tech for the basses mostly and does little errands for the staff as well as the other members on occasion. Jon is also our backup man. In fact, recently he took Rob's tenor spot for the remainder of the season (the first time he wore a sling because it was an emergency - Rob couldn't show up and Jon didn't know all the music yet, even though he did know the drill). So anyways, he's only gonna be with us for a little while longer, so we're enjoying him while we can. Also, does anyone know why he is JI?! Strengths: Can make anyone laugh, great guy. Incites ridiculous trends (i.e. straw chewing). Weaknesses: Weak. Skinny. I don't know.
