Take A627(M) to junction with M62. At roundabout take 1st exit (sign posted Liverpool). In 10.5 miles (just after junction with M61) follow signs for St Helens (A580) and in 1.3 miles join A580. Pass junctions with A574, A573, A49/M6, A58, A571, A5058 and after passing Goodison Park on right bear left at traffic lights and in 0.3 miles turn left into Anfield Road. Anfield is 0.4 miles ahead on right.

By Rail

Nearest Station: KIRKDALE

By rail, join the Merseyrail underground at Central Station or Moorfields and take the Northern line service towards Southport. Alight at Kirkdale, which is still well over a mile from the ground. There is taxi rank nearby Kirkdale Station on Hawthorne Road. Walking to Anfield will take 20-30 minutes, depending on how late you are! But at least you'll pass a few pubs on the way.

By Bus

Anfield is situated 2 miles north of Liverpool city centre. Bus route 17 runs along Walton Breck Road and there is a bus stop outside the Kop. Board this bus at the Paradise Street Bus Station. On match days these buses run regularly at 6 or 7 minute intervals. From Paradise St there are bus stops on the route through Dale St and Tithebarn Street then onto Scotland Road. Timetables are on most (all?) bus-stops. The fare is about 70p on a Saturday.
