Other: Rob has quiet a temper and has been told by the coaching staff that he is to control his temper or his services would no longer be required. Rob settled down late in the 1998-99 season after that talk. Before that talk Rob got in a fight nearly every time he got on to the ice, which generally meant that he did not recieve a whole lot of ice time. Even after he cooled down, if he got a shift during a game, he would only be put in for one or two shifts as a general rule. Rob recorded his first goal with Albany in the 1998-99 season after nearly two years with the Rats. Rob occasionaly stops in for the Top Ten at Ten on Fly 92 to take calls and talk about the Rats. During one of the games, in the 1997-98 season, when Rob was scratched, a adult male took a game puck away from a little boy who had gotten to it first. Rob saw this and bought the little boy a puck to replace the stolen one. At the end of the season a hometown friend of Rob's, Willie Mitchell, joined the Rats roster.
