Pictures of 1997.

Andora

The first week of June 1997, Krizia and Patrizia went to a place called Andora. The place lies on the coast of Italy in the province of Liguria.
Here is a picture taken of her in front of the hotel where she stayed. As you can see, see looks sad (must be because she misses me...).

Here Krizia looks very happy with her new Paddington T-shirt which she got from her grandmother. During the summer holiday my mother stayed with us at the same camp site, as usual at the Lake of Garda.

Dreaming away...

In this picture Krizia is dreaming away with her little doll. Do you see the attached butterfly and the hand writing? It's because the picture was already attached to the real photo album when I did the scan! It goes to show how fast Patrizia attacks the pictures - basically I've got about two days before she sneaks away with for the album. Sometimes it takes longer to do the scan...

Krizia with Emanuele

When we were camping, friends of ours came to visit. Here is their baby boy Emanuele, who enjoyed playing with Krizia in the toddler swimming pool.

Krizia with hat

The hat Krizia is wearing in this picture belongs to Alecia, another friend we made while camping. Alecia was staying with her brother Séan and her parents Patrick and Desirée. I would like to thank all of them for their hospitality! On one occasion we had to pull Krizia away from their table because she was eating up their whole dinner!

Eating an icecream

One of the nicest things about the summer holiday (not only for kids!) is the fact that you can eat so many icecreams! On this picture Krizia is showing off with hers. She's not scared at all of the tiger (must be because it's only a big towel).

Hi there!

The library of Torri del Benaco is located in a small but beautiful park where children can play freely. There are some wooden playhouses and this picture was taken when Krizia looked through the window of one of them.

August '97

This picture was taken on our balcony just after the summer holidays of 1997. As you can see Krizia looks ready to go to school, though she's obviously not very happy about it.

Sitting and waiting

During another "photosession", we took this picture of Krizia while she's sitting and waiting for her mother to take the picture. You can see all of her "children" sitting beside her.

Riding the bike

In September 1997 we had a big family reunion with all of the relatives from my mother's side. We spent a weekend in a place called - "Dokker zeilen binnen" - in the dutch province - "Friesland" -. Here's Krizia "riding a bike" in the garden of the farm where we stayed. The bike was one of the sculptures decorating the garden.

With grandfather

The weekend was closed with a big dinner and we took this picture just outside the restaurant. Krizia is held by her grandfather (my father). Notice the typical clouded dutch sky and the channel with bridge. Holland is a small country with a lot of water...
