Azul, brancacom detalhes em vermelho, bem ao estilo da França, a Tricolore ( tricolor), vai servir a pés famosos ao longo da Copa do Mundo. Será a arma do craque, o sofrimento do perna-de-pau,a angústia ou a alegria dos goleiros. Servirá para causar polêmicas dos mais diversos teores. Entrou? Saiu ? Bateu na linha?  Foi mão na bola ou bola na mão ?A partir do dia 10 de junho a Tricolore passa a ser parte integrante de mais uma página na história do futebol mundial.     São trinta e dois lados,  mesmo número de equipes participantes. É feita de material sintético especial, que, segundo a poderosa fábrica Adidas, evitará deformações ou qualquer outro problema de estrutura. Enfim, estará imune a chuvas e tempestades. O tamanho e o peso estão dentro dos padrões oficiais. E como tais padrões são maleáveis, sobretudo com relação ao peso, sofrerá restrições e servirá como desculpa para os incompetentes.
Sem discussão, porém,  porque bola que se preza não briga com  quer quem que seja. Limita-se a cumprir o destino de quicar e rolar para a glória dos quem dela sabem tratar.
