Electron Bowl Score

Meek Boys 220
Outlanders 90

Um, ow. The Meeks put their own personal stomp of approval
on the 10th BFL season, whipping the Outlanders by 130
points. Peyton Manning scored 54 points to lead the Meeks
to victory. Marshall Faulk had another 48, Marvin Harrison
had 33, Mike Anderson had 23, and the Tampa defense put in
another 22 to lead the charge to victory. In fact, all Meek
starters finished with double digit scoring. The Outlanders
were led by Daunte Culpepper and the New York Jets' defense,
who each had 18 points.

Electron Bowl MVP: Peyton Manning

Playoff Week 2 Scores
(1) Meek Boys 157
(5) Dawgs 123

The Meeks advance to Electron Bowl X with a 34-point win
over the Dawgs in the semi-finals. Marshall Faulk led all
scorers with 46 points for the Meeks. Peyton Manning also
had 36 for the Meeks. The Dawgs were led by Randy Moss
with 31 points, Aaron Brooks with 28, and the Jacksonville
defense with 26.

(2) Outlanders 179
(3) McKamikaze Highlanders 168

What can I say? This was a monster of a game with a ton of
points scored, and the Outlanders edged out the Highlanders
in the end for an 11-point win. The Outlanders got a
monster 66-point effort out of Daunte Culpepper and a
similar 45-point effort out of Eddie George. They also got
21 from Rickey Watters. The Highlanders were led by Kurt
Warner with 49 points. They also got 43 from Terrell Owens,
24 from the Baltimore defense and 22 from Jamal Lewis. The
key to this game appeared to be the Dallas run defense, which
managed to stiffen and hold the Highlanders' Ron Dayne to 0
points. Fifty yards and a short TD would've turned this game
to the Highlanders.

Electron Bowl X

(1) Meek Boys
(2) Outlanders

One vs. Two just as the gods of football demand.

Playoff Week 1 Scores
(1) Meek Boys 139
(8) American Looney 124

I thought the Loons might've had the Meek Boys' number
this week as I saw the points evaporating in the middle
of the Meek's lineup, but the end pulled it out.
Marshall Faulk led all scoring for the Meeks with 43
points. They also got 32 from the Tampa defense and 29
from Mike Anderson. The Loons were valiantly led by
Jimmy Smith with 31 points, Steve Beuerlein who had 30,
and Emmitt Smith who had 25.

(5) Dawgs 139
(4) Pigskin Pipsqueaks 85

The Dawgs upset their division rivals this week. The
Dawgs got 44 from Aaron Brooks to lead all scorers.
They also got 26 from James Allen and 20 from Randy Moss.
The Pips were led by Brett Favre with 25 points.

(2) Outlanders 138
(7) Butchers 119

The Outlanders and Butchers scrapped it out, and the
Outlanders came out on the winning end by 19 points.
Daunte Culpepper led all scorers for the Outlanders
with 54 points. Eddie George also brought home 30 for
the higher seed. The Butchers faced them with a
balanced attack, which included 25 from Gus Frerotte and
20 from Ryan Longwell, but it wasn't enough for the win.

(3) McKamikaze Highlanders 167
(6) Missouri Manglers 166

Paul's announcement of victory seems to have been just a
tad premature, as the Highlanders eked out a 1-point win
over the Manglers. The Highlanders were led by front-man
Kurt Warner, who had 34 points. They also got 31 from
Terrell Owens, 29 from the Baltimore defense, and 25 from
Amani Toomer. The Manglers with 63 points from the
astounding Jeff Garcia, 25 from the Denver defense, and 20
from the "not so secret weapon," Travis Prentice. PK Steve
Christie's 2 FG's last night made all the difference in the
Highlanders' win.

Quarterfinal MVP: Jeff Garcia in a losing effort
