Week 13 Scores

McKamikaze Highlanders 128
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 62

With the division lead at stake, the Highlanders finally
came through and more than doubled up on the Pips. The
Highlanders were led by Jamal Lewis with 35 points. They
also got 31 from Vinny and 22 more from the Baltimore
defense. Robert Smith's 25 points led the Pips. The
Highlanders move up to 9-4, and the Pips slip to 8-5.

Missouri Manglers 139
Outlanders 127

The Manglers upset the Outlanders and bring some parity
back to the league. The Manglers were led by Jeff George
and his 40 points. They also got 31 from Rod Smith (who
knew he could run?) and 22 from the Denver defense. The
Outlanders were led by Daunte Culpepper with 32 points.
They got 25 more from Eddie George and 20 from the Jets.
The Manglers make a late charge to 8-5, and the Outlanders
step back to 9-4.

West Texas Mustangs 114
American Looney 91

In a game trying to decide the best of the worst, the
Mustangs beat the Loons by 23 this week. The Mustangs
charged out with 29 from Warrick Dunn and also got 25
from Steve McNair. Steve Beuerlein of the Loons led all
scorers with 39 points, but didn't get much help otherwise.
The Mustangs gallop to 4-9, and the Loons drop back to 5-8.

Dawgs 141
Yukon Jacks 95

All Trent and no lineup make the Jacks a vulnerable team,
as proved this week by the Dawgs. Donovan McNabb ran his
way to the front of the pack with 40 points. Randy Moss
gave thanks for another 32, and Corey Dillon ran for
another 29. Trent Green got a similar 40 for the Jacks,
but only the Redskins could provide another 23 for the
Jacks. The Dawgs retain third place with a 7-6 record,
and the Jacks fall to 5-8.

Mark's Mules 140
Butchers 75

The Mules almost doubled up on the Butchers this week,
winning by 65. Rich Gannon stood out for the Mules with
47 points. They also got 28 each from Michael Pittman
and the Steelers' defense. Gus Frerotte got 33 for the
Butchers and 19 from Tiki Barber, but that was about it.
The Mules move up to 4-9, and the Butchers slide back
to 5-8.

Meek Boys 165
Bemee Gizzards 93

Lastly, but not leastly, the Meeks whipped up on the
Gizzards to the tune of a 72-point win. The Gizzards
were hampered by their starting QB going down early and
their best running back not playing. Of course, I hadn't
realized he'd broken his arm either. The Meeks got 44
from Mike Anderson to lead all scorers. They also got 35
from Peyton Manning, 34 from the Tampa defense, and 24
more from Matt Stover. The Gizzards put up 32 from the
Raiders and 29 from Muhsin Muhammad last night. The
Meeks improve to a league best 10-3, and the Gizzards
fall to 5-8.

Week 13 MVP: Rich Gannon
