Meek Boys               182
American Looney         100

The Meeks finished the season strong, whooping up on the 
Loons to the tune of 82 excess points.  Mike Anderson ran 
rampant for 58 points to lead the Meeks to victory.  They 
also got 47 from Peyton Manning and 29 more from the Tampa 
defense.  The Loons were led by kicker Olindo Mare with 21
points.  The Meeks finish in first place with an 11-3 
record.  The Loons finish their season at 5-9, tied for 
second with the rest of the Landry Division.

Mark's Mules            123
Outlanders              112

Mark and his Mules pull off an upset of the first-place 
Outlanders, beating them by 11.  The Mules were led by 
Fred Taylor who led all scorers with 42 points.  They got 
some more help from Mark Brunell who had 28 points.  Daunte 
Culpepper led the Outlanders with 24 points.  The 
Outlanders also got 23 from the Jets' defense.  The Mules 
finish at 5-9 and a shot at the playoffs.  The Outlanders 
retain their Halas Division lead at 9-5.

Dawgs                   156
McKamikaze Highlanders   43

Yes, you're reading that right.  There's not a "1" missing 
from in front of that 43 for the Highlanders.  The Dawgs 
smashed the Lombardi Division leaders by 113 points.  They 
got 56 from new QB Aaron Brooks and 31 from Corey Dillon, 
which was more than enough to win.  Kurt Warner led the
Highlanders with 18 points.  The Dawgs improve to 8-6, and 
the Highlanders fall back to 9-5.

Butchers              110
Missouri Manglers      92

In yet another upset, the Butchers edged the Manglers by 
18.  The Butchers were led by QB Gus Frerotte with 29 
points.  They also got 24 from the St. Louis defense and 
22 from TE Tony Gonzalez.  The Manglers got 42 from Jeff 
Garcia which led all scorers.  The Butchers improved to 
6-8 and secure a playoff spot.  The Manglers slip back 
to 8-6.

Pigskin Pipsqueaks    144
Yukon Jacks            87

In the other Lombardi Division contest, the Pips shredded 
the Jacks.  The Pips were led by David Boston with 38 
points.  They also got 32 from Robert Smith and 27 each 
from Brett Favre and the Miami defense.  The Jacks got 25 
each from Terrence Wilkins and the Washington defense to 
lead their scoring.  The Pips improve to 9-5 and a share 
of the division lead, while the Jacks drop to 5-9.

West Texas Mustangs   122
Bemay Gizzards        101

In the pivotal contest of the day for the last playoff 
spot, the Mustangs beat the Gizzards by 21.  The Mustangs 
were led by Warrick Dunn who had 47 points.  They also got 
21 from Steve McNair and 20 from Ahman Green.  The Gizzards
were led by Ryan Leaf with 31 points.  They also got 20 
from the Oakland defense.  Both teams are tied at 5-9.
