Week 7 Scores

Pigskin Pipsqueaks 142
Mark's Mules 124

Despite three zeroes this week, including 2 bye week no-shows,
the Pips beat the Mules by 18. Brett Favre led the
Pipsqueaks with 40 points. Robert Smith had an additional 34,
and David Boston and Hines Ward chipped in with 28 and 25
respectively. The Pittsburgh defense led the Mules with 40
points, and QB Rich Gannon had 37. The Pips move to 5-2, and
the Mules slip to 2-5.

Bemee Gizzards 167
Dawgs 137

The Gizzards turned on the scoring this week and beat the Dawgs
by 30. Edgerring James led all scorers with 48 points for the
Gizz. Jake Plummer had 40 more, and Mike Vanderjagt chipped in
another 21 for the Gizzards. Donovan McNabb led the Dawgs with
37 points. Ricky Williams had an extra 32, and Cris Carter
added 22 more for the losing side. The Gizzards move above .500
to 4-3, but the Dawgs drop to 3-4.

Outlanders 156
Yukon Jacks 119

The Outlanders rode the backs of the Jets' defense this week,
and they beat the Jacks by 37. They had 49 points and led all
scorers. QB Daunte Culpepper had 38 points, and Eddie George
added 28 for the Outlanders. Rob Johnson was best for the Jacks
with 37 points. He had help from Charlie Garner with 28 and
Jason Elam with 24. The Outlanders move to 4-3, and the Jacks
slide to 2-5.

Missouri Manglers 211
American Looney 70

One hundred point victories are rare, but we saw one this week,
as the Manglers spanked the Loons by 102 points. Jeff Garcia,
designated a "secret weapon" by Coach Crowson scored 59 points
to lead the Manglers to victory. Their defense, or rather
Denver's, scored 30 more points, and Rod Smith added 39 more.
The Loons were led by Drew Bledsoe with 27 points, and the Titans
added 20 more points on defense. The Manglers keep pace with the
Outlanders and move to 4-3. The Loons, however, drop to 2-5.

Meek Boys 148
Butchers 119

The Meeks seem to have recovered from their trip to the loss
column as evidenced by their 29-point win over the Butchers.
Marshall Faulk's 42-point day was good enough to lead the Meeks
to victory. Peyton Manning had 33 points, and Mike Anderson had
25 more for the Meek Boys' total. Brian Griese of the Butchers
led all scorers with 52 points. The Butchers also got 21 from
the Rams' defense. The Meeks move up to 6-1 and a solid 2-game
lead over the Gizzards. The Butchers, meanwhile, slip to 2-5.

McKamikaze Highlanders 145
West Texas Mustangs 118

The Highlanders also won, keeping pace with the Meeks. Their win,
as usual, was anchored by Kurt Warner with 49 points. They also
got 26 from the steady hands of Terrell Owens. The Mustangs
countered with 36 points from Curtis Martin and 35 from Steve
McNair. The Highlanders are now 6-1, and the Mustangs edge down
to 2-5.

Week 7 MVP: Jeff Garcia (secret weapon, my ass) :)
