There will a dance from 8-12 midnight on Saturday for all teams. Price is $3.00 single and $5.00 double....notices were faxed to all coaches by the junior sponsor Mrs. Leman

Thursday, Feb. 14th:
3:30: Seldovia girls vs. Palmer J.V.: Palmer J.V. wins 38-33. Jamie Gaegel scores 21, including 3 tres, while Michelle Gruber puts in 9 and Amy Gruber - 3. For Palmer, Amy Chapman scores 10, followed closely by Emily Bolling with 8. Other Palmer scorers: Kiesha Hooker - 6, Chrissy Lien - 4, and Camile Putman, Ashley Horsey, Aslynn Jones, Denise Stanley, and Jessica Hooker score a basket each.
5:30: Seldovia boys vs. Palmer J.V.: Palmer wins 60-56
7:30: Ninilchik girls vs. Bristol Bay: Ninilchik wins 61-21. Molly Bosick pours in 26 followed by Whitney Leman with 21, including 3 tres. Amanda Matson put in 6, including a 3 pt. bucket; Brieanna made a 3 pointer, Maria Johnson and Amanda Peterson each scored a bucket, and Kelsey made a free throw. On Bristol Bay's team, scorers were as follows: Stephenson and Wilson - each with 4, Adriane Riddle - 3, and scoring a bucket apiece were Ring, Abruska, Groat, Angasan, and Callie Riddle.
9:30: Ninilchik boys vs. Bristol Bay: Ninilchik wins 63-47
Friday, Feb. 15th:
3:30: Seld. girls vs. BBay: Seldovia wins 53-28. For Seldovia, Jamie Gaegel scores 21. Michelle Gruber puts in 12 followed by Amelia Dillon with 10. Ruby Mason and Emily Rojas-Michelson put in 4 each and Amy Gruber makes a bucket. For Bristol Bay, high scorer is Danica Wilson with 12. followed by Coral Stephenson with 8. Joyce Angasan makes 4 and Jessica Thomas and Lorianne Abruska each make a basket.
5:30: Seld. boys vs. BBay:
7:30: Nin. girls vs. Palmer J.V.: Ninilchik wins 50-49. Whitney Leman scores 26 points including three 3 pt. buckets. Molly Bosick puts in 12. Other scorers: Janelle Moerlein with 6, Amanda Matson with 4 and Kelsey Dieman with a basket. Scorers on the Palmer side: Kiesha Hooker - 14, Toni Cox (incl. a tre) and Amy Chapman - 8 each, Camile Putman and Emily Bolling - 7 each, Alicia Berberich with 3 and Chrissy Lien with a bucket.
9:30: Nin. boys vs. Palmer J.V.: Ninilchik wins
Saturday, Feb. 16th:
10 am: Palmer girls vs. BBay: Palmer J.V. wins 42-23. For Palmer, every player scores but one. Emily B. puts in 9. Denise S. and Chrissy L. each put in 5. Kiesha H. makes 4 followed closely by Toni C. with 3. Players making a basket each: Camile P., Carrie A., Ashley H., Aslynn J., Alicia B., Danielle S., Jessica L., and Amy C. For Bristol Bay, high scorer was Coral S. with 10. Other scorers: Jessica T. with 4, Jenna R, Adriane R., Callie R., and Danica W. all with a basket and Lorianne A. made a free throw.
12 noon: Palmer boys vs. BBay: Palmer J.V. wins
1:30 pm: Nin. girls vs. Seldovia: Ninilchik wins 55-29. Whitney Lemans leads all scorers with 20 points, including 3 tres. Molly Bosick adds 12. Other scorers: Janelle Moerlein - 8, Kelsey Deiman - 7, Amanda Matson - 4 (including a 3 pointer), Katie Moerlein - a 3 pt. bucket (YEAH KATIE!!!!), and Amanda P. with a free throw. Seldovia was led by Jamie Gaegel's 10 points. Other Sea Otters scoring: Michelle Gruber - 12, Amelia Dillon - 8, Rojas-Mickelson - 6.
3:30 pm: Nin. boys vs. Seldovia: Sea Otters win by one in this exciting game. Final score: 37-36
Tourney Results: Ninilchik Girls take the title and Palmer girls take 2nd. Whitney Leman is Female MVP of the Tourney & Steven Miller is male MVP.
