Scott Servais

All Right... Here He Is... What Do You Think?

Here's What Other Miserable Cubs Fans Have Had to Say ...

The Cubbies need to give up on Servais and go out and sign a catcher who can hit for some power. Also how come we turn on the T.V. and we see a ton of x-cubs, why couldn't these guys do well for us. 10/22/97

I Agree on the Servais Remark (Scott Acts Like a Star Catcher and a Team Leader, but He is Average At Best) ... With regards to all the ex-Cubs, Something Just Happens When Those Cubbie Pin Stripes Come Off

I can't believe Riggleman is going to sit Scotty to get a look at Hubbard. I know the Cubs would like to see what options for 1998 are, but Scotty has been one of maybe three Cubs who look like they even care what happens this season. The guy comes out every day and plays as hard as anyone - maybe he's not a Mike Piazza or a Pudge Rodriguez, but his intensity deserves better than bench time. 8/8/97

I would have to believe that Servais is not in the long range plans of the Cubs. Why else would they have two younger catchers?

OK he is a solid catcher...but get rid of him...it is time for the next coming Gary Carter.......PAT CLINE!!! 8/8/97
I'd settle for another Jody Davis (Just to hear Harry sing "Jo-dy, Jody Davis!" once more).
