Sammy Sosa
All right ... Here he is ... What do you think?
sammy sosa is one of the best latino players in the league...he is also the most underrated...like alot of latin america baseball players...he does alot for the community as well as give great contributions to the game its self...i dont know why people are so hard on him...get off his back has done more then alot of the rest of the cubs...in fact the cubs suck its just sammy holding up the team...go sammy smack #60!!!! 7/29/98
Sammy is the most exciting cub to play since Andre Dawson. He can run, throw, and hit for power. However, Sammy is the most overpaid player in all of baseball. Playing in Wrigley field, where even Jeff Blauser hit 3 homeruns in one game, the idea is not to swing for the fences. If a player wants to hit homeruns at Wrigley, they merely need to make good contact. Unfortunately for the Cubs, Sammy thinks he has to hit the ball to Skokie with every swing. Thus, that is where the 190 plus strikeouts come into play. Striking out does not win games at Wrigley, getting on base does!! 1/30/98
fifth best right fielder in the national league. ok, maybe fourth. maybe. 11/3/97
Hey dont be so hard on Sammy. As soon as the Cubbies get someone to bat behind him, you will see a big turn-around in Sammy`s numbers. Right now though there is no one back there who can consistently put the ball in play or over the wall so Sammy doesnt get squat to swing at. Sammy only wants to perform and obviously opposing pitchers will not challenge him when they can pitch him outside knowing that if he walks the next batter isnt gonna hurt`em, thus Swinging Sam goes after the bad pitch and Ks. 8/8/97
