More of Ed's homemade kites &
2 plans just for you! see below..

  1. 3 Birds Genki The genki is a high aspect ratio kite but still is stable because of the bow and the two long 35 foot tails.
  2. Apple of My Eye rokkaku This 6’ rok was built at our winter kite building workshop in 1996. It is 1 ounce weight rip-stop nylon. A favorite of mine.
  3. Goofy Sode. Not exactly a traditional design for a traditional Japanese kite shape. With a good depth of bow, no tails are needed. It does over fly sometimes with out the tail.
  4. The 15’ Bol This was the Waterloo Canada Day July 1, 1994 celebrations. The size of two rotating windsocks always gets a lot of attention.
  5. A thirty five foot high ring. It's very Impressive!
  6. It's a Shock Wave A quad style kite
  7. Wind Climber Banner Ed at the cottage with a Daryl Erwin creation. So..., which way is the wind blowing?
  8. 13.5’ Goofy Face I always get into a lot of trouble with my Goofy face. I just have learned to live with it.
  9. Native Face The shape is like a barn door kite with an original twist. The split in the bottom center was put there to help stabilize it. (It is an inside out genki shape.) Steep angle but drops quickly when the wind slows.
  10. Bug Buddy Hibernating lady bugs. I guess they should not be in the air? SEE PLANS
  11. Ed's original 4 foot bols One good turn deserves another. SEE PLANS
