I searched for reasons--always asking questions that had no answers. Then all I did was search for something that could fill the void.
Finally, I realized that although I could never be fully whole without you, I could live, but a different life than before.
I've heard that death or pain makes one bitter or better.
I went through the first to achiever the latter.

Blessed are those who realize the fragility of bereavement and handle it with an understanding shoulder and a loving heart.

A Friend
I need a friend to sit with me,
To help me struggle through
The sadness and the anger,
The crying I will do.
I need a friend to sit with me,
To help me work this out,
The guilt and all the anguish,
The time I'll want to shout.
I need a friend to sit with me,
To help me through my pain,
The longing and emptiness
The need to speak his name.

Angel in the Sky
Every Day And Every Night,
When You Feel The Need To Hold Me Tight,
Just Blow A Kiss Into The Sky,
For I Will Be That Close By.
In The Heavens Throughout The Day,
I Watch Over You And Hear You Pray.
I See You Smile And Shed A Tear,
For You Know That I'm Still Near.
I'm The Angel Of Your Eye,
Your Angel In The Sky.

This one is my Favorite, really speaks to my heart
I'm just a little feller
Who didn't quite make it there;
I went straight to be with Jesus
But I'm waiting for you here.
Don't you fret about me Mommy
I am all God's lambs most blest;
I'd have loved to stay there with you
But the Shepherd knows what's best.
Many dwelling here where I live,
Waited years to enter in;
Struggled through a world of sorrow
And their lives were marred with sin.
So sweet Mommy, dont' you sorrow
Wipe those tears and chase the gloom;
I went straight to be with Jesus
From my lovely Mother's womb.

Thank you for the life you have me
It was brief, but don't complain;
I have all of Heaven's Glory
Suffered none of earth's pain.
Thank you for the name you gave me
I'd loved to have brought it fame;
But if I had lingered in earth's shadows
I might instead have brought it shame.
Daddy gave me something for you
It's our secret Mommy dear;
Pressed it lightly on my forehead
Whispered in my tiny ear.
I'll be waiting for you Mommy...
You and Daddy, Bud, and Sis;
I'll be with you then forever...
Then I'll give you a great big kiss.
