I
worked for Bob 2 1/2 years ago.
This isn't Scumbag Bob's
first rodeo.
The current situation is a clone of what the
original programming team went through then.
Please keep me
plugged in, nvlc_jerkz@codedog.org, to
developments of your group. I empathize w/you & your associates,
as I fear I know were Bob is going with all this. (Been there, done
that.)
****************
Here's the deal:
The
"Public" catastrophic implosion (fresh law suits, booted out of his
offices & sometimes his house for good measure) is ALL PART OF
THE PLAN. Just bunch of public smoke, to set (lower) baseline target
assumptions, for the court appearances to come. i.e. to convince
burned vendor & creditors that there is no financial meat left
on the bones of Bob's company(s).
i.e. A bad settlement is
better than a good law suit with a dead horse.
Everything that has developed so far is the DeMaio
Business Model. Running the *Play Book" to a "T". And it's still
working well for him in Nevada. Even in the worst case [from
Deadbeat Bob's position], he ends up paying some of what he already
owes. No downside.
Depending on the 'conditions' it can be
cheaper for Bob to impale himself publicly and lowball in court,
than to file bankruptcy. Also, by not filing, he can do it all over
again sooner. In Nevada, it probably doesn't matter anyway.
To wit: Bob's court action list: www.codedog.org/nv/court_actions.htm
After the projects are 90% built, and a HUGE campaign of
banner ads jack up the "hits" statistics, Bob then *works* investors
with the "dream" supported by the bogus traffic stats. *Note: The
banner ads are not paid for either.
Bob then claims the
business is broke because of blah, blah blah . . all the worker bees
are trashed. (Except for the *necessary* key personnel)
The
venders & contractors then take Bob to court, where he shows the
Bob4U.com. LowestBob.com, Bob1web.com businesses have no assets,
cash, nothing. They settle for pennies on the dollar.
Bob
steps behind the corporate veil. His personal (gambling fund stash)
wealth is protected. (He got his already.) See ya next season.
Coming Next: "Bob the
Hero"
Bob will disappear for awhile. Then Bob tosses
a handful of money at his mission of "rebuilding his reputation".
Next he will be releasing statements about his commitment to doing
all he can, for the employees, despite his huge personal losses
[non-existent] and the fact that " . . . other people caused all
these problem blah, blah, blah . . ."
He will continue with
comments about having taken care of everyone, paid his bills, strong
future, reorganizing etc. The Truth: The only thing coming out of
Bob, will be the minimal mandatory demands of the court proceedings.
All hat and no cattle.
I wish I had beter news for
you all, but this is the real, tangible public record of events.
Good luck.

Guys, dot1web discussion needs to
remain on one forum, and also needs to be kept clean. I have locked
this thread and moved the other to the general section, since
obviously it isnt about the free isp anymore.
