I've noticed that I get a rash on my bum every other day. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of the rash?

Anyone else getting disconnected 1 to 2 times within the first 5 min. of logging on to PeopleStar? Its happened to me several times this week. I'm on the Unlimited plan/Aleron network.

I have had this service since September 2002 and in the last few weeks I started having recurring problems with getting not found or unavailable messages when I try to navigate to certain popular websites that should be available all the time. I have had this problem with MSNBC, Yahoo and several other websites that I know are not down. Five minutes later they connect successfully. I am not sure if I will renew this service when I come up for renewal in March but I think the quality of the service is definitely trending down. Has anyone else expierienced similar difficulties?

I've been using A4C for a couple months now and regularly received the "Invalid Password" error messages when trying to connect. It seems to correspond with the "busy times" for the internet (after dinner)... We never get busy signals... I wonder if the server(s) that authenticate the userid and password are overwhelmed!?!?! Haven't received any help from tech support...

Even tho the service works well otherwise (consistently connects at 50.6kbs, etc.), I'm thinking of changing so I don't always get these login failures...

I cannot log on half the time with this provider....I cannot get anyone that knows what they are doing when I call in to try to fix this problem... It took me 1 hour to log on last night. As a matter of fact, it takes that long every night in Michigan. I was informed that there aren't enough "PORTS" here in Michigan. I suggest trying someone else if your in Michigan for the time being. I certainly am!!

No what it means is after 4 hours you will be disconnected.

You can dial back in - I believe you have to wait 5 minutes before dialing back in (check the TOS to be sure).

Does this mean you can't be online more than 4 hrs. a day?

Before you cancel, test the surfing speed using http://www.numion.com/ so you will have a reference point to compare with other isps. It can be very interesting as my cheapie (poetworld) actually runs 10-20% faster than AOL or MSN and other users have reported that A4L and A4C run fast too. Sometimes different networks work better than others in certain cities. The initial 46K you report for the log on connection (from the taskbar) does seem quite slow. Check the numion speed as anything below about 33Kbps is not too good. Of course, not being able to connect = 0kbps!
