Caer Siddhe

Affalon and Hel

Mogh Roith had a dream. The Morh-Rhiogan led him to the realms of Hel. There, Mogh Roith saw a banquet hall dressed to please the most particular siddhe or god. The table had a grand feast to feed all who were seated there, yet everyone suffered hunger. Each had a spoon that reached the stew, yet was too long to reach their mouths. Mogh Roith’s heart froze in pain.

The Morh-Rhiogan led him to the realms of Affalon. There, Mogh Roith saw a banquet hall dressed to please the most particular siddhe or god. The table had a grand feast to feed all who were seated there, yet unlike Hel, no one suffered hunger. Each had a spoon that reached the stew, yet was too long to reach their mouths, and each raised a filled ladle to the waiting lips of another. Mogh Roith’s heart warmed with compassion!
