Some believe there are three types of worlds in creation. One is the Celestial, a world of pure energy and spirit. The second is the Telestial, a world of pure matter. Between them is the Terrestrial, a world that is a dynamic nexus of the Celestial and Telestial. The General Theory of Relativity shows a direct ratio of matter and energy within a given event. We theorize that mater is cold, condensed energy. I think the relationship between the Celestial and the Telestial is similar. I dont know that we can equate the Celestial kingdom with energy, unless we say it is energy with will. All beings in time-space are events within the fabric of non-being.
When a human dies, the spirit returns to the Jiva from which it was drawn. There, xe tells the story of the life xe lived. (I think we could say this of all life.) When a human dies, the body returns to the earth of which we have formed him, contributing to web of life. There, the electro-etheric energies (energy with will) generated by xer dissipate, creating harmonic memories within some who still live. Are these the virtual remains we call Ghosts? Maybe, this is just one explanation.
When asleep and dreaming, the body is better able to share in the experiences of the spirit, because the rational brain does not try to make sense of it all. Together body and spirit make up the whole Self, each contributing to the others existence. With talent, or training and practice the person can perceive events from within the Fifth Dimension. I did not make this name up! I was visiting Warner Bothers costume departments with a class. Our host told us about the Fifth Dimension, which is where dreams exist, and the ideas for stories and their expression come from. Because death and sleep shares so much in common, we think the source of dreams is that same place our spirit goes upon our death. Some call it Heaven, some Abered. Whether it is a place of happiness or fear depends on how we lived. Either way, Samsara ensures we dont stay too long.
