Pagan Shorts

Sun Dance

The sun dances upon the sea
Shrouded in the clouds,
Singing a song of wonderment at the
Magnificence and glory that
Lives and plays,
A son of glory true
And never fears to stop,
For the song is forevermore.

The Labarinth

Through the labarinth of the mind echo loud the words of past time in Donner’s voice to make the choice to be called forever, true love thine.

To Affalon

We’re going on to Affalon,
The city of the gods;
Where children play the time away,
And heroes fight no more.

We’ll praise her grace;
We’ll praise his face;
And feast forever more.

Let’s raise a toast,
And join our host,
And guory in our game.

Wedding Blessing

Children beneath the sun:
Though two your lives begun,
Great was the price;
You have thought twice,
This day your souls are one.

So! I declare you … joined in union.

Generations

From generation to generation is wisdom passed. Without that wisdom do generations pass.

The love of father for his son will give him strength to carry on.

Yes, I dare

I’ve been to Hell and seen the devil at his face. I have stormed the gates of Heaven, and I have stormed the gates of Hell. The hand of love is the greatest hand, and the hand of hate is the worst. What can any do to cause me to fear? I am Pagan, I am Witch.

Strolling Along

Off in the distance my mind strolls, as the distant thunder tolls. The call of nature in the creature, as the voice of thunder rolls.

Pagan Praises

Praise for the song we sing.
Praise for the dance we bring.
Praise for the wine we drink.
Praise for the bread we eat.

Praise for the joy that
Marries all our ways and
Brings us together to
Merry all our days.

Speech is like money.

Even the wealthiest only have so much to spend. It is nice to buy frivolous things, from time to time. Yet, if that is all we do, we won’t have any for the important things. Then, we may either starve or freeze.

Yet, it takes money to make money. If one is not willing to buy the little things, there won’t be so willing to spend it on bigger, more important things. In this case we will starve on stagnate wealth. This is how speech is like money.
