The Gates of Heaven and Hell are the Archetypes of the Veils between our ordinary World and the Virtual World. The magus does not need to expend much energy. We need only manage energies already available. Like a transistor or a transformer, the rite can change and redirect energies at will.
Some Magi prefer a Cone of Power, where the fellowship travels to some place to gather the needed energies, forming a circuit. In forming this circle, I have already included the whole Universe in the microcosm of this rite. Therefor, I feel I need only let the Forces of Shadow and Light in to empower everything.
A Note: Magic lips happen when we use every faculty to make words, without the addition of the voice. This turns the words and their expected energies into the Star Fields. It would be expected that the Guardian can choose the best words to open such a Gate as these.
The guardian will ring the bell once. Then, will chant:
We approach a dark door, and all light is absorbed.
The guardian will use Magic lips to bid the door to open. It does, and the Guardian will continue:
I see a hot ball of molten Earth.
This is the heart of the great Mother.
Do you hear Her lullaby?
Do you smell Her body?
Do you feel Her power?
Now, we turn, and see another brilliant door. All the colors seem to originate from that door.
The Guardian will use Magic lips to bid the door to open, and it does. The Guardian will continue:
I see a bright crystalline orb.
This is the heart of the great Father.
Do you see the colors dance?
Can you feel the rhythm of the light?
Do you feel His power?
Now, we return to our Temple.
We have fully established the Temple.
