| My name is Samantha. I am nine
years old. I like to swim, play the piano, dance, inline skate, ice
skate, play the clarinet, and draw. Last summer I was on my local
swim team. I scored an All-Star Nominating time on the 25 meter breaststroke
(my time was 26:18), but unfortunately I didn't make it into the All-Star
Swim Meet.
I've been playing the piano for about a year and a half. For Chanukah my parents got me an electric piano so I can practice at home. It really helps me practice songs like the Minuet in G or the Shostakovich March. This year I started playing the clarinet. I am playing the music "Let's Go Band 2," "Krazy Klock 2," and "Star Wars." I really enjoy playing the clarinet. My dad and I like to get up early on weekend mornings and draw. Sometimes we draw cartoons; sometimes we copy pictures out of the newspaper or books. I also take art classes. I've taken cartooning, and in the fall, I'm taking a studio art class. I've put up some pictures that I drew on my art gallery. |
