P.M.'s Final Fantasy Anthology

Do you like the Final Fantasy series? Yeah, of course you do. What kind of stupid question was that? Anyway, Squaresoft knows you all love the series, and that's why they came out with Final Fantasy Anthology, featuring Final Fantasy 5 & 6. (FF6 came out here as FF3 on SNES in 1994) I suggest everyone everywhere play these games. FF6 is a fantastic game that has stood the test of time, and FF5 is a great game, and I'm glad it finally found its way over the Pacific. It's picture time...

This, my friends, is Final Fantasy 5. An interesting game, it reminds me much of Final Fantasy 4 (FF2 over here in North America) except it has an interesting job system... this allows for geomancers with ninja abilities, monks who are expert thieves, and all sorts of interesting stuff. The game also has a strange obsession with dragons not present in any other game in the series... hmm.

Final Fantasy 6

MOG!Celes too

This is just a small taste of what you get to see in the new cg movies Square added to an already incredible game. The only thing better than a game with opera is one with nice animation, too, I guess. Just look at that cg Mog! There are some neat bonuses too, like a full bestiary and game performance info once you beat the game. Anyway, if you're looking for screenshots of FF6, just hop on over to my Final Fantasy 3 page.
So that's Final Fantasy Anthology. The game also comes with a nice soundtrack of the two games. (It's almost all FF6, though, and for some reason they left out Kefka's song!!!) I personally hope Square continues this, I would love to see FF4 done, and bringing FF2 & 3 (Japanese numbers) would be cool, too. Heck, a glossed over FF1 would be pretty sweet.

Hey, let's all give a hand for Squaresoft!
