Personally, I had been anticipating Harvest Moon 64! Harvest Moon (SNES) was one of the best games I ever played, and I loved Harvest Moon GB too. So I waited and waited for Harvest Moon 64, through all the last-minute delays, and finally bought it, and needless to say, it did not disappoint.
This game has, well, everything. Along with the basic vegetable farming and livestock, you can fish, mine, forage, build, cook, and, yes, just be a lay-about... although the later is the least interesting. Anything you could imagine doing on a farm plus a whole lot more is in this game, including the famed dating aspect, where you do indeed flirt with girls. If you haven't tried it, you probably should. While not action heavy, it's one of the only fun games I've ever played that's pretty much violence free. (The only ESRB descriptor is "Use of Alcohol", due to the bar and vineyard) I haven't heard any complaints about the game (except for those delays a while back) so I'll go ahead and recommend this game to everyone.
