While by no means the first big game in the Zelda series, the popularity of the first and only SNES Zelda was and still is quite near epidemic status. Bringing standbys like the Hookshot, the Ocarina (then called the flute) and transitions through worlds to the series, Link to the Past is so much more than just another game.
