Chimpanzee's can be found in the rain forest, woodland, and savanna's of western and central Africa. They live about 40 years in the wild. If they are in a zoo, they live about 60 years. An adult chimpanzee can weigh anywhere from 80 to 190 lbs, about the same weight as a human. Baby Chimpanzee's have to be cared for by their Mom for 2 years. They must learn how to gather food. The Chimpanzees eat leaves, shoots, bark, seeds, insects, fish, and small animals. They live in groups. They can either live on the ground or in the trees. They move with the food supply.
