The Princess and the Unicorns

        One day a princess walked by a beautiful babbling brook. It looked like the perfect place to make a wish. So, she knelt down and said "I wish I had a unicorn." At that moment a unicorn stepped behind her and said "Did somebody say my name?"

        The princess turned around slowly to find out what was behind her. She was shocked to find a little baby unicorn! The princess said "Why yes!" Now the little unicorn was shocked. She said "Whatever made you say my name?" The princess said "Because, I have nobody to play with all day. I don't even have a cat."

        The unicorn said "Well, I will play with you, until dusk!"

        Suddenly they both heard the baby unicorn's mom call "Diane, what is taking you so long to get a drink?" Diane said "Come and see who I met." A beautiful full grown unicorn stepped out of the forest.

        Diane said "uh uh uh!" The princess spoke up, "I am Lola, the princess." Suddenly the full grown unicorn knelt down and said "I grovel at your feet." "Why?" asked the princess. That's what proper unicorns do when they meet royalty. Diane? Did you bow?" Diane said, "No." ashamed of herself. The princess spoke up again, "She did not know I was a princess." The mother slowly stood up. "Well" she said, "let's go get Daddy." The grownup said "We will be right back." "Ok!" said the princess, "I'll be waiting." Soon they were back.

        The little baby unicorn introduced the princess to her Father.

        Suddenly a pack of goblins came out of no where! "HA! HA! HA!" they chorused, "We have captured the royal family!" "Jump!" a goblin gave orders. They pounced and drew up the family. Suddenly the princess remembered she could drive them away by swirling.

        Color of every kind would POP out of her dress and if the goblins hated anything more, it was unicorns! She swirled and made the goblins drop the unicorns. She did it again and made them run away. The unicorns stood up from the toss and said "We owe you one. "

        The princess said "Just be my friends."
