Here are more of my favorite photos from my travels!
When I arrived at Lawton Elementary, Mrs. Butterfield's class and the whole school were outside making an ice cream sundae out of the principal. I'm glad it was him and not me! It was an exciting day.
I played with our visiting nocturnal friend, "Sandy the sand crab." Carson tells us that Sandy really prefers running around at night when he is at his house!
I have met a special friend. He is the DARE mascot named Daren who accompanies Officer Gibson from the Oviedo Police Department every week when he comes to Lawton Elemenatry to work with our students. Daren came by our kindergarten classroom today and the children compared him to me. The children noticed, "Twinkles is smaller, has more white hair, is softer and may be in love with Daren!!!!"
I was excited to meet Lt.. Commander Mark Guevarra today as we celebrated Veteran's day. Lt.Com. Guevarra was interviewed on our school's news show and then toured the Kindergarten classrooms bringing us gifts and fascinating information about working in the Pentagon and living in Washington D.C. What we like about him best is that he is Amanda's daddy!
I am helping Mrs. Butterfield's class make cards at our card center.

Today was my last day at Lawton Elementary. I sure enjoyed helping the boys and girls figure out the secret code in the Indian's headband on our bulletin board which was written in secret code.
(By the way, the message said, "Happy Thanksgiving!")
