That this subtheme was released the same year as the movie "The Mummy". That is purely coincidental as "The Mummy" is an unrated (adult) movie. I just learned that "The Mummy Returns". It's a sequel to the 1999 movie "The Mummy". If it's anything near as good the first one go see it. I for sure will. I can only recommend "The Mummy". I saw it when it came out, and I bought it when the price was right. It's inspired by the 1932 horror film of the same name and it really captures the spirit of 1930's B-pictures.

This adventure/horror film is packed with thrills - often more gross than really scary. The sets are beautiful and the visual effects are very well done. Especially the mummy is great. On top of that it's really funny, and it's not even a comedy. The plot is nice although rather predictable. The acting by the entire cast is pretty good but not outstanding. The three leading roles (Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz & John Hannah) delivers a solid performance. You have to see it.
