Hedgehogs Can,
swim in creeks
make a nest of
leaves
sleep through the
day
stay awake all
night
hibernate all
winter
find their own food
have four or five
babies
curl into a ball to
protect themselves from predators
wander from place to place
and
eat cat food, raw
mince,praying mantis, caterpillars and worms.
About Our Art.
The pictures on this page have
backgrounds of sponged acrylic paint. When the paint dried the
children pasted on cut out hedgehogs made from the printout template
on Mrs Bruner's web page. They cut and curled coloured paper to make
the leaves that the hedgehogs were hiding under. Sharpies and felt
pens were used to add detail.The photos were taken using a digital
camera.
