    Azaria used to be a bartender in New York.
    He attended Tufts University from 1981-1985, but did not receive his Bachelor of Arts degree until 1987, when he finished his coursework in L.A.
  
His characters on "The Simpsons" include, but are not limited to: Chief Wiggum, Moe Szyslak, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel, Professor Frink, Dr. Nick Riviera, Lou, Carl Carlson, Snake, Mr. Van Houten, Bumblebee Man, Superintendent Chalmers,  Duff-Man, Arthur Fortune, Frank Grimes, Sea Captain, Disco Stu, Crazy Old Jewish Man... It would take years to name all the extras he's played.
    Supposedly, he based his voice for Moe Sizslak on Al Pacino.
    He has also appeared on "Family Ties," "Growing Pains," "Tales From the Crypt," and provided a voice for "Futurama."
