Information for EnchantedForest Homesteaders The GeoGuide Banner Exchange Program is a banner exchange program for GeoCities homesteaders. It can increase the visits to your site and also give you the chance to win great prizes. Since the Enchanted Forest was created to be a neighborhood for kids, Geocities is taking extra steps to make sure that this is a safe place for children to be. That's why Enchanted Forest members will only be able to accept and create Level I banners for the program. Level I banners have been deemed suitable for any viewer, especially children. This will keep parents from being concerned about the things that might show up on their children's pages. This rating level is automatic for anyone living in Enchanted Forest. To become a member of the Banner Exchange Program, all you have to do is read the information on the GeoGuide page, and follow the instructions there. Maybe you've noticed the banners-some are homesteader banners, some are Geocities sponsors, or a Geocities area. You can have a banner appear there, too. Just create a 468x60 pixel GIF or JPG image that is less than 8k and submit it to Geocities. If you can't create a banner for yourself, there's a list of volunteers who will do it for you!
