Based on the United States Savings Bond and United States War Bond efforts, we propose to establish the United States Solar Savings Bond Program. This program embraces all the elements of American teamwork and ingenuity combining education into a special Solar Savings Bond Program. As a youth in an American school in the 1960s and 70s, the US Savings Bond Program was a prominent part of our economics education in primary school. In addition to creating the habit of saving for the future, it also provides the opportunity and choice to invest in building the future through important solar electricity technology. The educational program developed with the US Solar Savings Bond Program will assure our youth are informed about the various types of solar energy technology available on the market, today, and those being developed:
