Having been in the modeling business for so long , we have come across so many books and magazines that served as our guides and even sources of inspiration. Jane's Aircraft Recognition Guide in stock What can we say? When we receive a new order, this is the first book we reach for. It may not be the thickest or most comprehensive aviation reference, but when it comes to providing quick comprehensive info it doesn't get much better than this !
Great Book of World War II Airplanes now available by Jeffrey L. Ethell, Robert Grinsell, Roger Freeman, David Anderton Wonderful book on WWII planes. Filled to the brim with information and beautiful illustrations. There are so many paint schemes and pictures. You also get fold out panels with prints suitable for framing ( Illustrations by Rikyu Watanabe) This is one large book with very comprehensive coverage of the following planes: P-38 Lightning , P-51 Mustang, B-17 Flying Fortress, Hellcat, F4U Corsair, Spitfire, Mosquito, Avro Lancaster, Messerschmitt Bf-109, Focke-Wulf Fw190, Stuka Ju87 and Zero Fighter. Suffice it to say that if you are interested in ANY of the planes listed above, you owe it to yourself to get this book. Actually if you are interested in aviation at all, you MUST HAVE this book.
by William Green, Gordon Swanborough A very complete book on all kinds of fighters. Practically all of them except the newest ones are here ! Has a lot of three views and diagrams. A big and comprehensive book for aviation enthusiasts. However this item is out of print BUT you can post an order at the Amazon site for good used copies ! The only book we've seen so far with so much information regarding rockets of all types. You heard that right , AeroScale also makes rockets as well as the Space Shuttle ! If you need a comprehensive book about rockets of all types, you should give this book a look see..
