Harmon Air Force Base was built by the U.S. Military in the 1940's and closed in 1966. Part of the airbase is now beening used as a comercial airport. The rest of the other buildings are being used by the city and private business'. The old abandoned Control Tower is still there, and some of the original hangers are still there. The road into town is actually going across part of the old tarmack. I should have more pictures of this place as well as the former radar station there this summer.
