This portrait of 16-year old daughter Marjorie appeared on "Saturday Home Magazine" on October 19, 1935. Marjorie began posing for her father in 1929. She assisted him in the studio, often making preliminary sketches and was her father's primary model throughout the '30s and '40s until her marriage in 1948.
