Heart-shaped faces have wide fore-heads and high cheek bones that taper to a pointy chin. Meg Ryan has her hair cut to perfection to play down her pointy chin. Heart-shaped faces are most flattered by styles that frame the face. Almost any bob with some form of bangs is good for the heart-shape face; the only requirement is that the length not be any shorter than jaw length. To make a heart shaped face appear more oval, make the wider forehead look slimmer and draw attention away from the narrow or sometimes pointed chin. Don't- It is best to avoid short, brushed back pixie styles, especially those with center parts. These styles only draw attention to your chin. Short or mid-length cuts that are full on top and tapered at the bottom are also a bad idea. |
