Thick Hair
If you do want your thick hair longer, choose a style that is off the face. |
This cut is good because the focus is on the eyes and most of her face can be seen. |
Thick hair can overpower your face if it's too long or too full. But thick hair is good for layers to create full volume, as long as the sides are more away from the face. Lots of short layers can easily be fingerstyled into height and wave, while they also create a wispy, convertible fringe. The nice thing about layers is that they take equally well to round brush styling, blow drying or fingerstyling. I like to notch or texturize thick hair to give it more of an airy, looser look. I especially like to notch the top to give it more lift and make it to where it doesn't lay so flat. |
