I remodeled this sweatshirt by applying a zipper (see
my instructions) and adding the beautiful Jacobean Jewels designs by
Hatched in Africa.
The sweatshirt is pigment dyed and very soft. It was purchased at
Sam's. The crystals used on the designs are from Creative
Crystals and applied with their special heat wand. These
crystals are very pretty and I have never had one come off even through
many washings. |

This is another pigment dyed sweatshirt from Sam's.
On this one I cut out the ribbed neck and cuffs. I turned the
wrong side to the outside and whipped it down with varigated silk
ribbon. This was an idea I saw at the Houston Quilt Show, and
that's where I purchased the ribbon. Cutting the ribbing away from
the neck then turning the raw edge left it rather large, so I wear it
over a turtle neck t-shirt. |

Once again I used the SwarovskiŽ Iron-On Austrian
Crystals from Creative Crystals on the 5x7 Jacobean Jewels
design. It is a good idea to try your shirt on and determine
placement for the design. I almost got this one too close to the
sleeve. |
