I made pillow for a friend of mine who is moving into a new place.  I used cotton fabrics to piece the quilt block.  The borders and back are purple chenille fabric.  My tip for making pillows is to make the cover exactly the same size as the pillow form or even a 1/4 inch smaller.  This will fill out the corners and provide a nice tight cover.
