I bought a kit for this jacket at the Houston Quilt Show. It is beautiful tapestry from Creations in Kerrville, TX. A pattern was included with the kit, but I used my favorite pattern by Louise Cutting, By Popular Demand. Of course, there is no embroidery here, as the focus is the floral print. No need for anything extra. |

I had a little stress about the closure. If I used regular buttonholes, they would have to be done in two layers of very heavy fabric. I finally decided on this diamond square of the contrasting stripe holding a corded loop. |
