THANK
YOU
Team E-mail
#8
Dear FEET 2
BEAT MS Team Member:
Thank you, thank you,
thank you !! Thank you to all who walked
this past weekend. Although I don’t have
our team numbers yet, I want to share with you some facts, figures, pictures,
and good news.
First, the #1
question that I am getting through a lot of e-mails since the walks:
If I
have more money to turn in, where do I send it?
Answers from www.marylandmswalk.org FAQs:
Q: Who do I make checks payable to?
Please make all checks payable to National Multiple
Sclerosis Society.
Q:
Where do I send my pledge money?
Your donations can be
mailed at anytime to:
National Multiple Sclerosis Society,
Attn: Walk MS
11403 Cronhill Drive, Suite E
Owings
Important Note – Make sure you put a note
that states, “Please post to FEET 2 BEAT MS (
Money is actually counted towards our team
until JUNE 1st.
Second
most popular question:
How much did we raise ??
Answer – we only know
how much ALL the teams raised at each location at this point because the money
has not been posted to the individual teams.
And, money is still coming in so as soon as I know something, I’ll let
you know.
Pictures
As you can imagine,
the walks are successful because of many people and businesses behind the
scenes doing their part. So, there are
many people to thank not shown below.
These are just a few I captured the day before the walk from
E.S. Hubbert & Son
(Thank you for selling feet and your weekend donations)
Center Market
(Thank you for donating the fruit and water)
K&K Kones
(Thank you for selling feet and volunteering on Sunday)
And, a special THANK
YOU to DAVE & GENA at Bay Country Bakery.
Here is the rest of the story.
Bay Country Bakery is closed on Sunday.
Dave & Gena got a babysitter for Saturday night so that they could
both come in on their only day off at 3:00 AM to make 30 (yes, thirty) dozen
donuts. And, there were different kinds
of donuts – not just one kind. This is
on top of the wall of feet sold (see below) by their great employees. Please stop by and thank them when you get a
chance.
4:00 AM and 29 Dozen To Go
Bay Country Bakery Wall of Feet
And of course, thank
you to all who gave up Church, their Sunday activities, their money, and their
time to join us. I really appreciate it.
And, We are NOT done !
Monday, I shipped 30
shirts to our Irvine, California team and 7 shirts to our Ogden,
Thanks again to All,
Rich
