The Day in General

Back to fantastic weather and all children
completed the rotational activities after the
Thursday program was slightly modified to make
up for the previous day’s rain. Basketball was
added to the activities to reduce the length of the
rock wall climbing que.

After a very active day,
our last dinner meal was
served up. And how
perfect it was! A lovely
roast dinner with golden
syrup pudding and
icecream.

Penguin in the water.
Exciting and fun.
Nice to watch.
Great to look at.
In the bushe’s sometimes.
Under the water.
Nothing went rong.

Panicking when scared.
A penguin surfing.
Relly fun.
A penguin was mating.
Ding in the water.
Entertaining things.

Today I woke up and got ready to do
our activities but it started to rain so
we had to do insied . But it was still
fun. After that we got free time to get
readdy to see the penguins. We saw
heaps of them they were all in big
groups. After that we watched a movie
it was “school of rock” it was good.
Well I had a good day.

We woke up slowley, tired, happy.
Breakfast came started raining we
went to watch a slide progeter
movie about what we’ve been
doing. The rain stopped and did
one activity we did photo trail. You
got a book and photos were finding
the places. The penguin parade was
great. Elise and I sat at the front.
There were huge waves. There were
about 20 penguins.

GK Idol Competition

After dinner, the great
GK Idol contest was
conducted with amazing
competitiveness. There
was a special visit by Guy Sebastian (aka Mr Pollard, a big thanks to Mrs
Rough) to host the show and we had well known parent helper judges
Marcia Hines (aka Felicity E.), Mark "Dicko" Dickson (aka Phil J.) and Mark
Holden (aka Anthony S.). There was some unbelievable singing,
synchronised dancing, piano and a bit of guitar playing. The effort that all
of the contestants went to was terrific, you just had to be there!
