Girlguiding East Yorkshire
County Campsite
GUIDEACRES
is the County campsite of Girlguiding East Yorkshire. The eight acre site
is well-drained and surrounded by woodland, and offers excellent camping
facilities.
The site is divided into four main areas by screens of young trees; each
area is in itself large enough for several Patrols to camp.
The surrounding countryside offers some good walks on the gentle slopes
of the Yorkshire Wolds, and Guideacres is less than twenty miles from
the coast and within easy reach of the city of Hull and the historic town
of Beverley, and not too far from the ancient city of York.
Besides its primary use as a campsite, Guideacres is also available for
Rainbow Activities, Brownie Revels, Activity Days, etc.
