Arryl has three living grandparents, one on his mom's side and two on his father's.
Arryls maternal grandmother is Patricia Heath, born February 1, 1922.
Arryls paternal grandfather is Gustave Savoie... his wife, my grandmother passed away in May of 1997.:-(
Arryls maternal grandmother, to whom he fondly refers to as Mummers (for story e-mail Arryl), lives in Montreal proper, in the section of the city known as Notre Dame de Grace, or NDG for short.
Arryls paternal grandfather resides still in Quebec city. To be honest Arryl is much closer to his mom's mom (what a funny term!) than to his father's father.
Arryl see's his grandmother on average once a week and speaks to her on the phone quite often....probably because she is retired and calls Arryls mom a lot! :-D
However Arryl rarely speaks to his other grandparent, last time he saw him was in Septmember of 1995 for their 50th wedding anniversery. It seems also that they have forgotten Arryl exists (sigh) for the last card that they sent was addressed to his mom, dad and brother...Arryls name was omitted...but then again that is nothing new, Arrylss brother recieves gifts from them whenever the family meets for Christmas (around New Years usually), but Arryl being "over 18" no longer recieve gifts...according to them...does not matter that Arryl did not recieve a gift when he was 17 either or that he faithfully sent X-mas cards every year from when he was 16 to when he was 19!
